|Wingman by Catherine King|
A dangerous experiment turned Sam Wilson into a winged super-soldier. His transformation also had an unexpected side effect: an erotic sensitivity more intense than he could have ever imagined. As Sam struggles to make a difference on the front lines, and to come to terms with his new form, he also finds himself torn between two men. Can Sam confess his feelings to his best friend and long-time crush–or will he fall under the spell of the brilliant but twisted scientist who wants to explore everything Sam’s new body can do? (M/M)
“Doc, what are you doing?” Sam had meant it to be stern, but Doctor’s thumb started rubbing circles against his wing, and the words came out in an embarrassing gasp.
“Merely testing the limits of your enhanced senses.” Doctor abruptly leaned in, his breath on Sam’s ear. “It’s a lot more fun than taking the serum in the first place, don’t you think? And since you’ve already gone through the pain…”
That hot breath slithered down the back of Sam’s neck, as Doctor crouched behind him, both hands now braced on Sam’s wings. The scientist huffed out a gust of air at the base of Sam’s wing joint, causing the wing to beat violently.
“… interesting–why not enjoy the perks?” Doctor petted the other wing for a moment. “Mmmm. They are magnificent, aren’t they? I must admit, since so much of my work is rather… ugly… I do get a thrill out of creating something beautiful, for once. All the more so if the user is enjoying them as well.” He straightened, hands still on Sam’s wings, but just clasping them reassuringly. “What do you say? Shall we continue the experiment?”
Sam tried to calm his ragged breathing and think. Perversely enough, he found that he did trust Doctor; the man might think of him primarily as a test subject, but it was as a prized test subject to be coddled and protected, not one to be discarded lightly. Comforting, in its own disturbing way. And those hands felt treacherously good on his wings.
“All right,” he said, his mouth dry. “We’ll continue.”
He imagined he could hear the smile in Doctor’s voice. “Good.” And there was the distinct snap of gloves being removed.
The very first touch made Sam writhe. Doctor’s fingers, intoxicatingly warm now without the gloves, traced swirling patterns, spiking out his feathers in a way that almost verged on pain. Sam could feel himself getting hard; he groaned, tipping his head back, not even trying to hide his reactions now.
Doctor kept one hand stroking through the feathers, and lifted the other to caress Sam’s throat. “You’re forgetting something, Sam,” he murmured.
“You need to tell me how it feels.” There was the definite suggestion of a smirk in that voice. “Qualitative data may not be the top priority of most scientists, but I’ve always found such studies very… stimulating.”
Sam swallowed, feeling Doctor’s fingers trace the motion, down to the hollow at the base of his throat. His wings were quivering madly. “It feels–oh, fuck–it feels good, Doc.”
“Mmmm.” Doctor lowered his head to nuzzle at the crook of Sam’s shoulder, while returning both his hands to the wings. “Go on.”
“So fucking good…” Sam arched back, panting. Every touch was sending an electric charge down the length of his body, straight to his aching cock; his skin felt like it was on fire. He could feel Doctor’s tongue flicker out against the nape of his neck, but it was almost lost in the sheer flood of heat as his wings were fondled. “That–right there. Oh, please, right there…”
