Arctic Absolution and Song of the Lonesome Cowboy have each received an Honorable Mention in the 2015 Rainbow Awards! Thank you so much to the judges! These are both dark stories with emotionally complex subject matter, as is pointed out in the judge’s comments, so I appreciate their open-mindedness in taking a chance on my books. The recognition means the world to me and I’m truly thankful!
Comments for Song of the Lonesome Cowboy:
“A very engaging story despite the dark themes of sexual manipulation and rape. The characters, especially the main pairing, were fully fleshed out and, as a reader, I came to care for them and rooted for their HEA.”
Comments for Arctic Absolution:
“The author had a way of pulling the reader in even though I had a hard time with the story. However it is important to know this story will not be for everyone, and in fact is full of topics that could be considered triggers for some readers. It is angst ridden and at times darker than what I like my stories to be, but I am glad I was given the chance to read this book.”
